Whether your church has many ministries or not, it is important to pray for them all. Church ministries are a means for us to grow spiritually while also drawing others to Christ. They teach us to work in unity as one body. If you can, I think you should try to join a church ministry; it would help build the church.
Today we will pray for all the active ministries and those still in the works. May God bless the work they do and grow the church. May he provide laborers for the work. May they do God’s work joyously, bringing good news to the lost.
"Lord, I thank you for all the ministries, from the abortion ministries to the nursery; they are all of much value. I pray more members will be inclined and willing to join the church ministries. I pray for unity within the ministries and that Your will be done in them. I pray that all members of Your ministries will grow spiritually. I thank you and pray this is Jesus' name, amen."
“And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.”Ephesians 4: 11-16
